Product Description
Lanikai is proud to introduce their Exotic ukuleles. Constructed with solid Zebrawood, the SZW-CCA acoustic-electric concert ukulele produces a fresh tone unique to the distinct resonance capability. Unadorned by synthetic enhancements, this series captures the pure essence and beauty of the natural world. The concert-size ukulele is slightly larger than a standard-sized soprano uke. The result is a slightly deeper tone, and more volume than it's smaller counterpart. The Lanikai Exotic acoustic-electric uke features a solid top back and sides, slotted headstock, Grover gold-plated tuning machines, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, maple and rosewood skunk stripe and an ovangkol neck. A custom wide-bone nut was used to increase the string spacing, making this Lanikai ukulele more comfortable for guitarists who are expanding their sonic palette with the ukulele. The cutaway Lanikai SZW-CCA concert uke comes equipped with the Fishman Sonicore ukulele preamp and Sonitone pickup. With volume and tone controls mounted in the sound hole this concert ukulele is truly a performance driven instruments. The Lanikai SZW-CCA ukulele is strung with Aquila Nylgut strings..

Product Description
Pronounced "U-KU-LELE" ("OOO-KU-LELE" by Hawaiians), these tiny "guitars" originated in Hawaii and became very popular on the mainland after the fifties. Our Ukulele kits feature mahogany parts and make a great instrument. The 4 nylon strings make it easy to play and a wonderful starter "guitar" for that youngster or adult.
